Lake Mansarover lies near Mount Kailash which also has religious importance. It is the combination of two word “Manas” and “Sarover” meaning Mind and Lake respectively. According to Hindu mythology it is regarded as the first lake created in the mind of Lord Brahma.
Every year thousands of pilgrims travel to Mount Kailash on believing their good fortune and wash the sins. Those who drink from the Lake Mansarover are believed to go to residence of Lord Shiva after death. This tradition dates thousands of years back.

Meet our representative at the airport who will transfer you to the Hotel. Hotel checking-in and go for sightseeing tour. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Morning – breakfast in the hotel. After that leave for the full day UNISCO HERITAGE sightseeing tour, visit Swyambhunath Temple, Patan Durbar Square and Bungmati Village. Overnight in Kathmandu.
From Kathmandu our journey forwards towards Kodari (Nepal Tibet border). On clearing the custom formalities, we cross the Friendship Bridge and then our driving trip continues. At Zhangmu, clear second immigration formalities and enjoy 3/4 hours scenic driving hours to Nylam. Overnmight at local guest house of Nylam.
Today is our free day in Nylam. By means of making ourselves adapt to the altitude, we just explore around the village and monasteries. Entertain the local lifestyle and mesmerizing sceneries.
Ahead of Nylam, we follow the jerky road all the way to Saga. Cross the first highest Lalung La Pass (5,150m). This is the ever superb point to encounter the magnificent view of the high Himalayas including Langtang, Shishapangma and Gaurishanker. Eventually cross the bridge over the holy river Bhramputra near Saga and overnight stay at local lodge.
This is the focal point of our whole trip. In this auspicious day we get the chance to make a holy dip in sacred Mansarover Lake. The day also offers the first look of holy Mt. Kailash. Entertain the hygienic eco-cultural environment of Mansarver area and overnight stay.
After early morning breakfast, we will start clockwise drive around Lake Mansarover (88 km). After the completion of holy circle, the journey continues to Dharchen for overnight stop. At Dharchen, explore around the village and/or drive to Asthapad (optional program).
Today we make the parikrama (circle) in and around the world of countless number of gods and goddesses. We will be blessed with the shadows of sacred Mt. Kailash from the right and from the left the holy river Gangas guides us. Make the auspicious 18 km circuit and capture the amazing experiences with your eyes and camera as well. Overnight at Deraphuk.
Today is a little tough day as we have to go along Dolma-La pass (5,648m). The pass lies between two valleys: Yama-sthal and Shiva-sthal. The pass is famous for holiest offering and meditation point, so upon reaching to the top sit down for meditation. On crossing Parvati-stal and Gauri Kunda, reach to Zuthal Puk for overnight stop.
Today, after the short morning trek (3-4 hrs), we finish our parikrama near the Darchen. Our driving crew member will pick up you from the ending point and then, drive back to Saga. Overnight at Saga.
After the morning breakfast we leave the land of Mansarover with full of experiences and blessings. At Zhangmu (near Nepal Tibet border), clear customs and continue drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
Today you will be free for your own activities like shopping. Afternoon we will drop you at the Kathmandu Airport end of the package.
